Magic Mushroom termasuk jenis narkoba



Sejenis jamur yang tumbuh di kotoran hewan atau yang biasa disebutmushroom, magic mushroom, atau psilocybin mushroom termasuk dalam narkotika golongan I yang diatur dalam Undang-Undang Narkotika Nomor 35 Tahun 2009. Oleh karena itu, siapa pun yang menyalahgunakan jamur ini, baik penjual maupun pengguna, dapat dipidana.

Pakar Kimia-Farmasi Badan Narkotika Nasional (BNN) Kombes Mufti Djusrin mengungkapkan, dalam undang-undang, magic mushroom atau jamur ajaib ini termasuk di dalam zat aktif bernama psilosibina. Zat itu masuk ke dalam narkotika jenis alamiah atau yang berbahan dasar tumbuh-tumbuhan alami.

"Itu termasuk narkotika golongan satu. Memang orang banyak belum mengira bahwa itu adalah jenis narkotika, makanya saya tegaskan itu," ujar Mufti saat berbincang dengan Kompas.com di gedung BNN, Kamis (31/1/2013) malam.

Serupa dengan jenis narkotika lainnya, efek negatif yang ditimbulkan jika mengonsumsi jamur ini adalah memiliki halusinasi tingkat tinggi sesuai dengan situasi psikologis saat mengonsumsinya. Sang pengguna bahkan tidak dapat menyadari apa yang dilakukannya salah atau benar di mata orang lain. Kondisi inilah yang memicu beragam tindakan menyimpang lainnya.

Secara kimia, Mufti menjelaskan, jika seseorang mengonsumsi jamur ini, zat aktif yang ada di dalam barang tersebut langsung menyerang sel di otak. Jika dalam tahap yang signifikan, maka kondisi itu bisa menyerang saraf dan mengakibatkan kinerja otak menjadi lebih lamban dari sebelumnya.

"Zat ini menyerang sel-sel atau gelembung di dalam otak yang memiliki kemampuan menyerap oksigen. Jadi, otak tidak bisa menyerap oksigen dengan sempurna sehingga akhirnya mengakibatkan lambannya kerja otak," lanjutnya.

Berdasarkan pengamatannya selama ini, jamur yang proses pengolahannya berbeda dengan jamur untuk konsumsi biasa sudah banyak beredar di kota-kota besar di Indonesia. Beberapa kota tersebut antara lain Jakarta, Bali, Yogyakarta, dan Surabaya.

"Kalau soal peraturan ya saya serahkan ke penegak hukum. Saya hanya menjelaskan secara kimia, ini adalah narkotika, ya otomatis pasti menjadi tindak pidana," lanjutnya.

Menurut beberapa literatur, magic mushroom ini mengandung zat psylocibine atau zat sejenis alkoholid (nitrogen yang ditemukan dalam alam). Berbeda dengan jamur konsumsi, jamur jenis ini tumbuh di atas permukaan kotoran kerbau atau sapi dan memiliki bau yang menyengat. Jamur ajaib yang juga kerap disebut jamur penghayal ini diperkirakan sudah ada sejak zaman dahulu. Pasalnya, sebuah penelitian menemukan seorang dukun di Siberia menggunakan salah satu jenis dari jamur penghayal tersebut sebagai media untuk membuka pintu yang menghubungkan mereka dengan Sang Pencipta.
